CHANGE THE MODULE WHICH IS LOCATED RIGHT BEHIND THE KNOBS. SAME THING HAPPENED TO MINE. HOPE THIS HELPS

You need a new AC Control Head which is the controls. VERY common failure on Malibu's. I wouldnt buy one in a salvage yard because all of them go out and chances are the one you buy will be just like the one you have. New=less than $200 I think.
