1999 Chevy Malibu Heater core hoses

I had my coolent hoses off that run into my fire wall. My heater is not working now. There is a chance I that I hooked up the hoses on the wrong pipe(switched them around). How do I know which hose goes on which pipe? Would that cause the heater not to work?

That will nto cause it to not work. They have no affect whatsoever. Thats why they are not specially marked and coded.

You probably have a air bubble in teh system that needs working out.
