I warmed up my car last night and came out and it smelled like it was burning. I made it home okay. This morning I warmed it up and came out and my car was steady accelerated to 3 rpms. I shifted into R and it went back down with a jolt, then I went in R and it went really fast when I touched the accelerator. I shifted into drive and the car jolted again and started going forward without me touching the accelerator. I drove it around my neighborhood and when I touched my accelerator it would take off. When I tried to brake, it was like I was fighting my car. It did not want to stop. I had my 6 month old son with me in the car, so I just went home and now im here! I hope you can tell me what is going on! Thanks!

Was the brake pedal very hard to push if so u have a major vacume leak on the engine open the hood and listen for a loud sucking sound follow that sound to the vacume leak but I would start with the power brake booster behind the brake master cyl hope this helps lsauto
