1998 CHEVY MALIBU CHECKING FLUID LEVEL

Transmission problem
1998 Chevy Malibu 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I can't find a dip stick to check the fluid level. I can find the filler cap, but no stick. Am I missing something? Autotransmission fluid

Fluid level of what? Brakes, engine oil, transmission etc?

No problem. The malibu doesn't have a dipstick for the transmission. You must use the oil check plug located on the trasmission. Is your car front or rear wheel drive?
