1993 chevy lumina apv mini van with a 3.1 liter v6 engine has 168,619 miles on it. My problem is it was running fine parked it went to get back in it wouldnt start. It acted like it wasnt getting any gas to the carberator. Put a new fuel pump on it still wont run there is still no fuel going to injectors on the throttle body. Can you help me figure out what is wrong and how to fix it?

I would suspect a bad fuel pump relay. Also since you changed the fuel pump, it wouldn't hurt to replace the fuel filter. A clogged filter won't allow fuel past it.

95 chev lumina van 3.1 over mileage.(Maybe 170,000) I recent replace fuel pump and it got better then the collaspes happen again month later, found it was coil wire that been tore or cut off so I replace the coil wire. It gotten better till now the collaspe happen again and wont run. I check the carb I see gas comin out of carb. So it not gas filter I need. I m able to start and gas comin out of carb nicely. People says it s tune up, some says it s fuel injection, some said gas filter which I dont think, from this page I also picked up air idle control plm. HELP, my van is in daytona beach and I m goin back there try fix it tomorrow. I m an hour away from my van. Of course I m bring tools along and rope in case I cant fix it and may have to tow it back home. ( I m female if it matters) grrr
