Hi all! I just joined this awesome forum! I need some help, please! I own a MINT 1996 Lumina APC Minivan with the 3.4 L V-6 motor. It has been excellently maintianed and we LOVE it! The wife and I also really need it as we travel periodically in this Van as well as transport my disabled 83 year old father often, around town when we are taking care of him on the days his full-time caretaker is off. Anyway, for years now, although it runs just BEAUTIFULLY, the MIL has been on and my scanner shows me a DTC of P1652. Please, can anyone tell me just what "Lift/Drive Output circuit fault" means? It may not be the problem, as I know about another issue with the system, i.E, the fan motor relay is alwasy active and keeps the cooling fan running at all times. This is more than OK with me since we live in FL and it is so VERY hot here which only helps to keep the motor from overheating. In this manner, I actually prefer to have it this way. But I would like to have more info abt this one and only DTC P1652 that I get. Each time I clear the code, it shortly comes back. Thanks! Rich Palais

Output Driver Modules are used by the PCM to turn on current driven devices that control the engine and trans. The troubleshooting procedure is long and in-depth. There is a link below where you can look it up yourself to get a better idea of what you are dealing with
