1998 Chevy Lumina Trailer hitch added to car

I have added a trailer hitch to my 1998 Chevy Lumina LS. About 2 times a month, I connect a motorcycle ramp trailer to pick up a Harley motorcycle. Someone mentioned that I needed a transmission cooler to do that. Is there anything I should be doing to the car/engine to protect my car when hauling the trailer/motorcycle? Thanks

If I was towing a trailer with my 99 Lumina I would make sure the gear lever was in D not overdrive, unless you are on a highway and going a steady speed above 55mph. I would also keep your fluids clean and maintained, oil, tranny fluid, etc.
