I warm up the car for a few minutes, but it still goes very slow. I can step on the gas pedal all the way down, but it will not go.

Also, sometimes I will be stopped at a light or stop sign and the car is still in drive and foot on the brake. When it is time to go the car will not move when I step on the gas. I have to put the car in park then drive again.

Does the engine rev freely in neutral?

You will need to take it to a reputable shop and first have the CAT backpressure tested. A clogged CAT can cause severe drivability problems.

Otherwise, it could be engine related (crank sensor), transmission related, or driveline (binding brakes).
