I assume you have the Lumina van. You can either put the truck up in the air and reach them from undernieth and up the back or disconnect the front engine mounts, apply the parking brake, shift the trans into netural and tilt the engine forward with a pull strap. Either way they are no fun. Let me know how you make out.

I AGREE with basstech, there is an actual tool you can use, that you put in place of the "dogbone" mounts and then you are able to use a ratchet to crank the engine foward, nice tool to have for those 3.1's
