2005 Chevy Impala Gas Smell inside car

Not all the time, but often when you start the car there is a strong smell of GAS inside the car. What could this problem be caused from?

Most likely faulty fuel pressure regulator. Part runs about 70 bucks and is relatively easy to swap. Part is located in lower left corner on top of engine. Just changed mine out last week. Also an 05 impala. If you need a picture of the part just search for it on ebay. Wait till you smell gas and then look under the hood. You will probably see a small amount of fuel around the regulator
