Sirs> I have just replaced he strusts ahd shocks at 58900 mil es. I had this done at Sears Auto Center in San Antonio, Texas.

The ride is still hard, can feel ever joiint in the pavemant and small irregularities. I thought the ride should be smoth, but it is no smoother than before replacement.
Couold it be that the strruts were faulty, the wrong sixe shock for my 3.4 engine? Or ould it be faulty installation?

Thank you for your help.

IN reply to hour questions:

The struts wsere replaced as each time I would cvross a "speed bump" the car would sound like crushing tin cans and also recommened by two mechanics.

The struts were replaced with Monroe Sensamatics The tires were calibrated at 7/32 and the front end was aligned when strust were replaced. The struts are not electronic.

Your counsel is appreciated.

Thank you,

Ok I need some info first so I try to better answer your question. First off why did you replace the struts? What struts were put on ei monroe matics or KYB's and what level of strut? Has any other suspension work been done like tires or alignment or? Get back to me and we will see what may be the issue. Does this have electronic controled suspension?
