2002 Chevy Impala Sun roof Malfunction

2002 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The sunroof on my 2002 Impala LS is stuck open. I was looking for advice on how to get it shut. I thought that, since it is electrical, there might be some kind of mechanical override or manual way to close it. Sunroof will not close.

Hey Bebster,

There is no manual override. Did you check the fuses? If they are okay the switch is probably out and needs replacing.

Here is a guide to show you how to test for the problem, its a window motor and switch but its the same thing for the sunroof,
