The water in my radiator has turned into a brownish almost mud mixture. I was told this may be a break in the transmission cooling motor that runs thru radiator. How much would something like this cost to repair or replace radiator?

You have a leak in your automatic transmission fluid cooler inside the radiator.
You're gonna have to replace the radiator, and I strongly suggest you service/flush your transmission as well (you could have some coolant in it).

I would imagine a radiator replacement running between $450-700, plus another $80-150 to service the transmission. Of course depending where you live it could be a little different.

If you feel confident, it is somethig you can do yourself with a manual (like Haynes or Chilton).
It is not overly difficult, just time consuming.
