the passenger seat does not heat. The switch is good as is the fuse. is there a 2nd fuse? Is the heating element seperate or part of the leather seat? Can I safely put a new element in (OEM) without risking trouble with the airbag system ?

Do you have a test light that you can check to see if there is power at the connector on the seat?

If the element does turn out to be bad, most upholstery repair guys should be able to replace it for you. Recovering a seat (and making it look right) is a learned art. You might want to pay someone to do it, if it turns out to be the problem.
