Everytime I get the car warmed up (a mile or two down the road) and start to drive anywhere, the trans loses the abilty to pull the car forward or backwards. Then I've got to let the car go back down to a cold state again. Its not overheating, trans is proper red and full.

You may have a cat converter plugging up. Have the converter inspected. Do you have a check engine light on?

I really don't see how the Cat Conv would have to do with the trans ability to engage when I need to put in Drv or Rev. The engine runs great and when its ice cold, it feels very strong with no slippage at all. But, after 5 or so mins. (At about 28 degrees ambient temp outside) it will not feel any engagement any more, so therefor the car is a sitting duck.
