2000 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am hearing a strange noise from the right side of car. Sounds like metal on metal. Now car wants to go into traction all the time and my service traction system and abs lights came on. Any idea what is the cause of this?

Take your car to a Chevy dealer; they have the right scanner to retrieve the trouble code(s) which will give you an idea of what the problem is. You won't be able to get the codes with a regular scanner, which mean going to autozone for the free scan will be pointless too.
