2000 Chevy Impala blower motor problem?

So my ac/heat quit worker. Nothing would blow out. Replace the resistor(brand new) and blower motor(used). Nothing but an audible click when switching between settings 4 and 5. Hooked the original blower motor up and the fan did spin (only on setting 5 and then very slowly) for a few seconds then quit and wouldn't come back on.

When you replaced the blower motor did you replace the control module as well? The blower motor relay is inside of the control module and that is what seems to be at fault here.
