Hello,

I recently had my ignition cylinder replaced at the dealership. I was given one key after the work. I noticed later that my door lock was not replaced to match the new key. The work was covered under my warranty.

Should I have expected to receive two keys and to have the door lock replaced to coincide with the new ingnition key?

Hello,

Yes, a proper repair/replacement procedure will include all the lock cylinders so you don't have to have several keys just to get in and start. Many times dealerships gets the cylinders rekeyed to match one key.

Thank you.
