I was wondering how to replace the passenger side cv half shaft. How much more would it cost going to the shop, rather then doing it myself?

Hello,

Replacing a CV axle requires several steps to complete. With the right tools it can be done in one to two hours.
A CV axle can cost between $50.00 and $80.00 (US) at your local parts store.
If you have a shop install the axle it can cost somewhere around $300.00 depending on the shop rate.

Here is a article that might help you decide:

I have also attached replacement procedure for your vehicle.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
