2005 Chevy Colorado p0300 check engine code

2005 Chevy Colorado Four Wheel Drive Automatic 99000 miles

check engine light code p0300 comes on on and off, parts guy said it may be the coils have already replaced plugs and boots, but have read some info on the net today saying it could be in the engine valve springs head etc, and that this is a common problem on this truck, is there a recall on this? or any idea's?

There ar ea few TSB's on this subject. Teh valve spring one requires a cylinder leak down test to determine if it is th eproblem. Also a dirty/poor ground on the cylinder head.Also for clogged/dirty fuel injectors. Your shop will need to do some diagnostic work to find out which it is
