My car seems to run a little sluggish at times, the dealer said I need a fuel induction service. What is this?

Basically what they are most likely refering to is an injection cleaning. They will hook up a cleaner to either the PCV or brake booster hose, and a cleaner will be slowly sucked into the engine cleaning the injection as it goes through. If they plan to do what I think, it will look like an I.V. Hooked up to a person, and there will be a steady drip going into the intake system. If it is working, most times your car will be blowing black smoke from the exhaust. Don't worry, the smoke will stop.

Let me know if you have other questions, and thanks for using 2carpros. Com
