2006 Chevy Cobalt electric steering

Anyone had problem with steering just going out reverting back to manual steering?

Yes that can happen if the system gets over headed, like trying to parellel park alot, but also sometimes the motor goes bad. Does the "Pwr Steering" words come up on the dash display at all?
