Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Chevy Cheyenne V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 97 chevy cheyenne 1/2 ton with a 5.7 liter vortec. It take 5 to 10 tries to get it to start. Once it starts it runs fine. Its a real pain to start. I have changed plugs, plug wires, coil, and air filter. What am I missing.

If you did not, check your distributor cap and rotor, and also check your fuel pressure, you may need to replace the fuel filter.

- did you find the problem? I have the same issue with my 1997 5.7L Vortec, and I am leaning towards injectors problem. But this is an expensive route for trial and error. I'll continue to fight with it until I am more sure that there is not another problem
