Gentlemen:
GM has me adjusting the two adjustments on this carb (idle mixture and running-top) with dwell meter. Can I use my scanner on mixture control, for example to do the same? Setting might be 50%, for example. My scanner is an older OBD I Auto Xray. Thnx Rob

It would be a very difficult way to adjust a carb. The O2 sensor would measure the A/F ratio, but it would have to sample the mixture over a period of time, since they do not give immediate feedback.

If you want to adjust the carb. Properly, take it to a chassis dyno facility and hook up to a wideband O2 sensor.
