The engine temperature gauge

The engine temperature gauge doesn't reset after the engine is turned off but it stays on 195. After starting the engine again or even just giving the contact the gauge jumps further and goes on the speedometer gauge scale. I've unpluged the cluster panel fuse and pluged it back for few times and that helped me to reset the gauge. It worked for a while and then it happened again. Now the gauge is all the way on the right side pass even spedometar scale. All other gauges are o.K.

This may be a communication problem with the BCM, which may be interanl in the BCM or wiring to the cluster from the bcm. Check the connections. It may also be a faulty Coolant temperature sensor giving false readings. I doubt the cluster itself is a problem, but is possible.
