Broken helicoil on spark plug

What do I do when the helicoil that someone else installs breaks out? I have a '88 cavalier 135000miles, 4 cyl. (2.7L?) Is there a larger helicoil or somthing else I can do. I do not want a very exspensive repair like a head replacement. Can you help please. Thanks very much.

Hey Bill,
If the threads made by the original heli-coil install are ok, then you can simply re-install another heli-coil. If not then the head needs to be removed and repaired/replaced.
