Steering problem
2004 Chevy Cavalier Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 30,000 miles

I was driving when I hit a patch of ice and my car slid into the curb a couple feet to my right. There was no traffic around, we were all fine, and the car seemed drivable so I continued on the 20 minute drive home. When I checked out the car when we got home, the wheels were noticabley unaligned. The right seemed to be straight but maybe a tad to the right. The left wheel is a couple inches facing to the left. I also noticed that while driving, in order to drive straight, the steering wheel was a little to the left and not straight. The steering was also very loose and im not sure of other internal damage caused on the car. What is the damage and what might be the cost of repairs?

Your problem sounds very simular to mine, I was on my way to work early in the morning about 5am it was icy I wasen't going very fast maybe 15mph and as I turned the car went striat into a half foot curb on the front left side and now the steering wheel is off to the left about 15(deg) and im getting a rumbling sound at speeds above 35mph im guessing its because the leftside wheel must be off. Can this be re-aligned or could the axle itself be bent?
