2001 Chevy Cavalier engine rough

I was driving and the "TC" light came on the instrument panel then car started to run rough and stalled. Any ideas and is it safe to drive to a service station? Please help. Thank you so much

Take it to an auto parts store for a free OBD computer code reading. It may be throttle control. I can't say if it is ok to drive it, you know how it's running. You can also get someone with a handheld computer to do it for you at your home.
