1999 Chevy Cavalier Serpentine shredded, won't start

Belt broke while driving, ran off battery to driveway, battery shot. Replaced belt and battery, will not start. Smell of fuel and fire to plugs. Is there a possibility of a timing issue? It did make it home.

No, it did not overheat. Happened within a mile of the house.
