I have recently done a lot of work on my z24, I am running into a problem. This car is ran on a road course, so no laws are broken in this problem. Wanted to make it clear! As I reach about 107mph I loose drive. The car feel like it went in to neutral. I go down to about 100mph them I get the drive back. I can not figure what I need to get over this problem. Maybe I looking to hard I don't know any help would be great. Thanks Smoke

Your problem might be that the car's computer is limiting your top speed. I know my car (not a Cavalier) limits it at about 110 mph because it comes with too poor of tires to "safely" go any faster. Threre are probably other reasons besides tires that the speed might have a limit. So anyway, if the reason is your car's computer, you might have to get a programmer to turn off the speed limiter. As far as I know, they cost from about $300 to a little over $1000 depending on their quality and the car they're for and you just plug them in somewhere under your dashboard and then you can change settings including top speed. Hope that helps :) Oh also, that reminds me of a video that actually shows this happening.

(I didn't make the video or have anything to do with it by the way)
