I own a 1997 caviler z24 2.4L, 5 speed transmission with 150,000 miles. Recently when I started the car it cranked funny almost like it was missing, then when I put the vehicle into gear it started to buck violently. Since then I have replaced the spark plugs and the boots, since my car has no spark plug wires. The problem seemed fixed for a day then it went back to bucking at me. It was definitely less severe after the spark plug change and it only happens when I let off the gas or try to keep the vehicle at a constant speed. Any help would be very appreciated.

No check engine light on. Has youre fuel and air filter been changed. Also youre coil packs could be acting up, Also did u make sure youre spark plugs were properly gapped.

Good Luck.
