My heating core is broken and needs to be replaced, I was wondering about how much this is going to cost and if its worth it price wise considering the age of the car.

I replaced my heater core also and it cost $25-30 for a new one. I don't know what it will cost to have it fixed by a mechanic. It's fairly easy to fix. The location is behind the radio. You have to remove the plastic from behind the dash area. You will find it right in there.
