I just asked a question about a rattling noise when my car is in gear and is warmed up. For example it rattles at a stop light but then will stop when I get on the accelerator. And it does not do it in park or neutral, just in gear. I was told to check the catalytic heat sheild. I actually just replaced my cat converter and it still does it. And I dont seem to see any sheilds around the cat. Any ideas?

Usually rattles are in the exaust system like a broken heat shield mount or pipe hitting the frame or body. It could also be a loose torque converter bolts if it rattles when first takeing off. If that's all ok then take it to a pro as these are hard to put a cuase on without actually looking at it.
