1998 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My problem is with my ignition key getting stuck is the running position. I need to replace the lock cylinder but the key is stuck. My car has a PASS KEY 2 system. How do I replace it with it stuck in the running position?

Your going to have to disassemble the steering coloumn, With air bags you have to do it just right or the airbag could go off or the light on the dash could come on. If you need to know how to disassemble and reassemble the coloumn let me know. Steering coloumns are my specialty.
