Yesterday I got my car shipped to me from missouri where it has been for the last 8 months and when I got it off the shippers truck I was already expetecing problems. When I started it to drive it into my back yard I noticed the idle was revving up when I took it out of gear. So I changed the oil and air filter and started it up and the idkle seemed fine unitl I moved it and then same problem idle revving when I take it out of gear. This morning I went outside to start it up and thwe idle was running high from the get go and only got higher asd the car warmed up[ what should I do?

I think the gear issue and the idle may be a little coincidental, I would first, clean the throttlebody and throttleplate, of any carbon/debris, then check plugs and wires, and pcv valve, from there egr. Let me know what happens

So when I remove the throttle body do I have to replace gaskets or are they re-usable?

Yes only if you decide to remove the throttle body, but to clean the plate and the inside, you dont have to do that.
