Hi

I have a '91 Camaro V6 (3.1L). It has been acting weird recently with the following four symptoms:

1) Turns over fine but struggles to start
2) Misfires bad on idle and stinks of fuel
3) Idles high sometimes and still stinks of fuel
4) Either misfires and stalls or cuts out without warning.

So I checked the ECM for codes. No codes. It has had new coil, plugleads, plugs, distributor cap and rotor.

I am totally stumped so any help would be great!

I had this same problem in my 91 Camaro 3.1L. Check the fuel injectors. There is an impedance spec. Double check this but the impedance should be 10- 16 ohms. Several of mine were down around 4 - 8I replaced them and it ran ok for a while - I bought used injectors.

Cool I will check it out. I found a way online to check the injector resistance in two banks, apparently if either bank has an equivalent resistance of 4 ohms or less then it's a case of testing each injector like you say.

Many thanks
