i bought a1991 camero 5.7 v8 the person I bought it from said it blew a head gasket so they took it a part and had the heads resurfaced and the valves down and pressure tested put it back together and it had 2 dead cyl so I bought the car thinking the valves were to tight but I was wrong so I took that head off my self and had it tested and it was fine so then I was told the rings were causing the problem so I put in new piston rings and thguy already put in new lifters so then none of this help so I put in new lifters and plugs and cap rotor and check the plug wires still have the same problem but now I have three cylinders missing can you help? Thanks bill

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following-inspect and test all the following below:
1. Defective spark plug.
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
11. Idle air control valve.
