Hi everyone,

I have a '86 Camaro Iroc and I know the differential is bad. The people I have talked to say it would be very hard to buy the parts and repair it myself (very expensive, special tools, .) And I should just look for a used one (axle, brakes and all) and replace the whole thing.

I do have experience doing mechanic work. I have replaced waterpumps, timeing gears, fuel pumps, .

I would really appreciate your opinions. BTW, it is posi.

Bro im sure u dont have tools for that job. Just go to a junkyard and look for one there. As long as the car is v8 it will be pos. Not hard to install.I used a junkyard piece on my own car and works just fine.
