1979 Chevy Camaro V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 454 and I think I need a diagram for the interor drivers side of block with any hole that goes to the oil shown; it arterialy bleeds oil in a spray about the diamiter of ones pinkey, leading me to beleve I have lost a plug for a sensor. I can't see the area due to the motor being in the car so if you can a diagram and prognosis check would be helpful.

It's a first gen 454 so it had mec. One but I beleve it has been changed to ele. I beleve I have lost a plug bolt the size of the sensor. I need to know the size said "bolt-sensor" so I can replace it. A diagram would help with that, unless someone knows the bolt I need. At 10 cents per bolt I'd be OK a few answers. Help.

Napa. Com has never heard of a flywheel cover. Is there another name? Also does it retain trans fluid?

So you have reverse but no drive? Place in neutral then ckeck shift lever on trans there is a hole in lever that must lineup with hole in trans. Adjust if needed. If not that drop pan and check manual shift valve to lever see if it moves spool valve.
