Hello All,

I only drive my Maro' on the weekends roughly a hundred miles or so to get some fresh air in our liungs. When I park her last I notice a leak of the transmission fluid. Please give me tutorials on what to check, how to diagoise, and how to repair this problem. I feel real bad seeing Her in this condition, and I have the time and a garage with a many of tools to do the job. Please assist me in getting this done right the 1st time. Pictures and diagrams would be of a great assistance, as I will be able to supply pitures to assistance during the process.

Thank you all in advance.

First, put the ('maro')? Up on jack stands. Crawl underneith and look for the leak. Common areas for leaks are--the shifting linkage seal--transmission pan gasket--the out put shaft seal (where the driveshaft connects to). Find the leak and I will be glad to help you with fixing the leak.
What type of transmission is it?

Sorry, one more place to look is where the dipstick tube connects to the transmission.
