Rear window and hatch

I have a 1997 chevy s10 blazer, 4x4, automatic, 4 door with rear window and hatch that work with key button to open window then reach inside to open bottom hatch. I can hear noise when I push the button but the window will not release. I used it all day then one time it would not open, bummer since my job is delivery.

My question is what kind of repair shop should I take it to, body? Auto? Chevy dealer? Or is it simple enough to fix myself.

You can do it yourself. Crawl in through the back seat and remove th einterior panel off the bottom door. You should have access to that point to the latch assembly. Have someone push th erelease button and you should be able to watch it so you can see whats wrong. Since you do delivery, I would guess the latch itself is probably broken due to the amount of usage it gets
