Blazer Running Rough

1992 Chevy Blazer uses alot of gas and doesn't have much power when accelerating. I have just gotten it and have had fords for many years. If you can tell me where to start I would send you some cookies. Someone suggested it may be the fuel injector. It has a new fuel pump, filter and many moduals. It has 170,000 miles on it. It is in good shape the 4X4 works great, and it is worth saving, if I can get it to run like my ford.

There is injector cleaner called seafoam its in a red and white metal container try running that through

What brand of fuel pump?

What size engine?

What shape are the plugs and wires in?

Definitely post a result. I can't sleep some nights wondering what happened to some of the vehicles. :) But seriously, it helps for a learning environment :wink:

Don't know the engine size yet 6 cyl though. Plug wires and plugs are brand new. The guy who gave it to me ($100) Don't know what brand fuel pump he put in either. I will find out. Weekends are very busy for me, I work the whole time. But I think he crossed 2 wires after glancing at the firing order in the repair book I have. I enjoy knowing what happens to the tips I suggest too, it does help learning, and meeting some quality people, refreshing!
