Transmission problem
2003 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 86000 miles

The vehicle runs and drives ok normally in 2 wheel drive as long as I'm not making sharp turns.
But if I make a hard turn it requires a lot more rpm's from a stop before it engages the turn.
Also Backing up is a little jerky and again requires more engine rpms before it engages.
Transmission fluid levels are ok.

Seems as if it doesn't build up enough pressure unless I run the engine at higher rpms at turns or when backing up.
The problem is even worse in 4 wheel drive.

A friend advised it could be due to low transfer case fluid level so I am just checking around for a second opinion.
