I hope you can help. We bought a Chevy Blazer 2002 model RHD from Japan, I can see it was manufactured in USA.

I can not find the Engine Code ID. I desperately need it for Clearance so I can get it register. Please let me know where I can find it on the engine, or let me know what is should look like.

Are you looking for the engine size? Usually the ID is on the radiator shroud, it's on the emissions sticker. Is this where the vehicle came from, YANASE AND CO. LTD.
GM PRODUCTS DIV. 6-38 SHIBAURA 1-CHOME, MINATO-KU
TOKYO, JP 105
post back with any other questions, BTW there are no outstanding recalls.

Hi Brain

Thank you very much

Car Details:
2002/2001 Chevy Blazer 4.3l Automatic
VIN No: IGNDT13W72K116728

I recon the vehicle is from Yanase for it have their sticker on the rear glass door.
No, not really looking for the engine size, I need the Engine ID Code so I can have it cleared for registration.

The only codes we found were:
1. 12554522 GM - Behind the fanbelt on the Block itself.
2. 70135 KRA 2131 C2 - Also behind Fanbelt looks like its been done with laser.

If you any examples/pictures of the Engine ID Code and what it should look like please let me know. Westvanderhuiz@hotmail. Com

Thank you for all your trouble

Hi Brian

Hope you can help again.
My 2001/2002 Chevrolet Blazer RHD was manufactured in the USA. Can I get a spare remote and key for the vehicle from the US? I came across this site and their remote looks the same as mine.
Will they work on my vehicle?

Thank you for all your help
Btw we finally got the enige ID

The remote should work, it looks just like the factory ones.I looked up the build sheet on this truck it is equipted with keyless entry so that will make it easier. It has AU5 option which is keyless entry. If you buy a remote or remotes you need a tech 2 to programm it to the vehicle, which is a scan tool that the dealer has. You should be able to add the remote without any real trouble.
