I have a 2000 Blazer which will not prime at times. After you use ether or a little fuel poured in the intake it runs fine. It will usually start back up immediately, but if you wait a while it will not prime again. Sometimes youn can hear the pump prime when the key is in the on position and sometimes you cannot hear it. I've put two new fuel pumps in it and has made no diference. You can hear the relay working also.

I've checked the oil pressure switch and it has only one wire which just reads presure and doesn't seem to involve the fuel pimp. I thought the same thing until I looked at the wiring. It has inly one wire. Is there another switch somewhere else?
