On my 2000 Blazer the air conditioner has just started to alternate blowing really hot and cold air. This happened after the battery died and had to be jumped. The battery is replaced and problem still exists. Is the computer climate control board fried or is it that the freon may be low? The compressor clutch is engaging, nothing seems to be freezing up, and all the fuses and relays work fine.

if it is blownig between hot and cold go out under the hood and see if you can see frost on the pipes by teh dash. If you do then you may behaving what they call freezing up. If that's the case the drier needs to be replaced and the system emptyied and evacuated and recharged. it's got moisture in the system.
