Steering problem
1999 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 72000km / 45000 miles

Initially when I engaged 4WD and turned the front wheels then applied the gas it felt like the front brakes were on. The further the wheels were turned the less they would move, completely locking up at a 3/4 - full turn. It is now starting to happen in regular drive too?

Hi
Both wheels lockup? Have you jacked up front see if they turn with weight off? Any noise associated? Suspect a CV joint.
Let me know
Thanks for donate

Hi, Yep the boiling water sound is coming from the radiator after 20 min runs or so and after any run there is a small pool of the newly added coolant on the road under the car. They did a head gasket check and it came back as ok but he said it could still be that.

Just got an update that the radiator, hoses, water pump etc was full of rust - they think its going to need a new radiator, water pump etc etc

Well that would cause the problem guesss coolant leaking from water pump. If rust really bad radiator will get cloged.
