All of a sudden my battery is wanting to charge, as long as your sitting and it running it will charge. We you put in gear and start driving it, the battery starts losing power and fast. What could be causing this?

Hello, I'd make sure the battery has a full charge. You shouldn't try to charge the battery with the alternator if it is down very far.

Then you can check the charging system. The battery is mainly used for the starter, after the vehicle starts, the alternator should supply the vehicle needs. If the charging system isn't working correctly, the vehicle will draw from the battery.
