Engine Performance problem
1997 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i was told I should be able too put all this on. I did buy a manual but I cant locate the iac valve on my blaazer I dont think I can put the cat. Converter-for the po402
and too start with the po507 get a iac valve and that should do it.
i put a fuel filter on last fall.

Possible causes for code P0507 are faulty throttle stop screw, stuck IAC valve or throttle linkage, rich or lean fuel system, throttle body bore stuck with foreign material.

The IAC valve is located near the throttle body assembly for the 2.2L engine and on the throttle body assembly for the 4.3L engine. List your specific engine size and I can post diagram.

I would first inspect your oxygen sensors for next code before paying a hefty repair on the cat. converter. To learn how to check an oxygen sensor, follow the link below..

Thanks for telling me too check the oxygen senser before getting catylitic converter you can tell im not a mechanic. Now for my engine size its a 4.3 cpi for locateing the iac valve I still cant find it on the car thanks for your help
