Engine Performance problem
1997 Chevy Blazer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 195000 miles

Code reader says it's an EVAP system issue. (I believe it was a 33, but not positive anymore.)
Symptoms:
- Poor fuel mileage
- In hot weather only (so far), fuel seems to get choked off after driving for a while. After letting the car sit for a 30+ minutes, it will fire right up and run normal as before.
I appreciate any help I can get.

We have a 97 and experienced the no starting problem but after letting it sit it would finally start. If you have the same problem, it only gets worse until it won't start at all. We replaced the fuel pump and it took care of it. It was pricey(800.00 installed) but the part is expensive
